Yet we still live in a world where access is uneven, especially when it comes to higher education. Financial, social, and cultural barriers continue to hold people back, leaving many individuals on the margins and excluded from opportunity.
We’re excited to welcome 50 inspiring students from the University of Luxembourg — along with their dedicated mentors — into our community.
Here’s to growing together, going further, and shining brighter.
A special thank you to the University of Luxembourg for being such a valued partner in this journey.

A heartfelt thank you to the André Losch Fondation, our strongest supporter to date, for believing in our mission and backing À deux, on avance.
This year, we are launching Twin A Nurse, an initiative at the University of Luxembourg designed for nursing and midwifery students. At a time when our society urgently needs healthcare professionals, too many students still face significant barriers, from financial pressure to underpaid internships, leading to some of the highest dropout rates across fields.
Through Twin A Nurse, students are paired with mentors from the healthcare sector and can access financial support when needed. The ambition is simple yet powerful: to build a genuine community of support where no one is left behind, and where future nurses and midwives are empowered to succeed.
This is just the beginning. Twin A Nurse marks the first step in a broader vision. With the support of the Fondation Losch, we can focus on creating meaningful impact here in Luxembourg, without being held back by resource constraints.
Together, we are shaping a future of greater opportunity and stronger, more connected communities.
Still not over it. 💛
Our hearts (and legs) are still full from the Journée de la Solidarité 2025.
You showed up — for the NGOs, for your teams, for your community.
And it was magic. ✨
From the Tandem Run to the concerts, the workshops, and all the shared smiles in between — thank you for making this day unforgettable.
🎉 And we also want to extend a huge thank you to our sponsors and partners:
BGL BNP Paribas for believing in our mission and supporting this first edition,
The Coq, Fonds du Kirchberg, Brasserie Simon, Provencale – for your generous support and help with the site and logistics.
📣 A special shoutout to Cecilia and Olia (Women of Luxembourg) for using your platforms to amplify our message of solidarity. You helped make this a national movement. 💬✨
🏃♂️ And to our inspiring athletes:
Jackie and Matthieu, for being there with us in person
Vera Hoffmann, Jenny Warling, Patricia Van der Weken, Julien Henx, and Ben Kovac, for standing with us online and helping raise awareness
— we thank you for running, supporting, and shining a light on the power of coming together.
This was more than a day.
It was a movement — and you were part of it.
From all of us at Bright asbl:
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
